Sorry, Toyota sales must be Pre-Owned and Foothills Toyota’s policy is to sell only Pre-Owned vehicles to Canadian Customers. According to regulations set forth by the manufacturer, new Toyota models may only be sold by U.S. dealers to U.S. Customers.

First, we will agree on a price, accept a deposit to hold the vehicle, and collect the appropriate information for us to complete the appropriate documents for export.

Next, we will need two forms of proof that you live outside Washington State. This will exempt you from Washington State Sales Tax. Acceptable forms include a Driver’s License, Voter’s Registration Card, or a Utility Bill.

We will then collect money via wire transfer. Your bank must contact us for the account numbers; they will not be given to you personally. The vehicle may not leave our location until it is paid in full. While this is taking place, we will fax the purchase order, title, odometer disclosure, and letter of recalls to the border. This must be done 3 full business days before the date of export.

Once the wire transfer has been verified (may take 2-3 business days) and the adequate amount of time has been given for the border to process the paperwork, we will send your vehicle with you. We will also give you the title, odometer disclosure, recall letter for you and one for the border, and all other documentation required to transfer ownership in Canada.

Please make sure that your Province does not require any equipment that our vehicle does not have (daytime running lights, engine block heaters, proper seats belt positioning, etc.).
